Six eLearning modules relating to Realistic conversations in paediatric palliative care.

Welcome

Welcome to this interactive eLearning resource, ‘Realistic Conversations in Paediatric Palliative Care'.

In partnership with NES, the Paediatric End of Life Care Network (PELiCaN) has developed this resource consisting of 6 interactive and reflective modules on how to have realistic conversations in paediatric palliative care.

Modules include:

  • Introduction to paediatric palliative care
  • Introduction to Goals of Care
  • Shared decision-making in paediatric practice
  • Introduction to perinatal palliative care
  • Supporting future care planning conversations in practice
  • Realistic conversations in unscheduled care

Each module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, and there is a knowledge check at the end of each module (it is beneficial to take the 6 modules in the order that they appear).

Is this resource relevant for you?
  • Do you care for or work with children with life-limiting/life-threatening conditions and their families?
  • Do you work with children and families who require palliative care?

If you have answered yes to any of the above, these modules are relevant to you!
