Year one was a steep learning curve but has offered me a broader frame of reference and supported adoption of a more informed and strategic approach to the work I do within the organisation. I feel the personal and professional development, rapid upskilling, and networking I have undertaken in the first year have been instrumental in establishing myself and my role within this space and have significantly increased the value I can offer. Participation in the programme has supported my ability to translate and interpret the necessity for digital transformation across both digital and clinical domains.

This is one of the most innovative leadership programmes in the health and social care sector - indeed due to fiscal decisions one of the few that still exists for our senior leaders. The benefit of this programme is its ability to bring together in the one space a diverse range of leaders from across systems and sectors. In so doing it challenges entrenched thinking and siloed practice, enables participants to think and develop creatively whilst influenced by insights out with their normative experience.
I know first hand that this has and will continue to be beneficial to individual senior leaders but also to the wider health and social care system in Scotland not least in its fostering of innovative and dynamic thinking and developments. I thoroughly commend and support the programme.
