The Women, Children, Young People, and Families (WCYPF) team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are delighted to be hosting a webinar that will be facilitated by LGBT Mummies to offer a learning opportunity for health visitors to enhance their knowledge and skills in supporting LGBTQIA+ parents in the early years.

The LGBT Mummies Organisation purpose is to support LGBT+ women and people globally on the path to motherhood or parenthood. Their mission is to acquire true equity and equality for LGBT+ families to that of their heterosexual counterparts.

During the session you will:

  • Hear about experiences of LGBTQIA+ parents.
  • Find out about tools that can foster a positive relationship and provide inclusive, safe and personalised care.
  • Ask questions to support your individual or team learning.
