Morning session – Outpatients / Theatre non operative skills

• clinic letter dictation skills, clinical skills - history/examination, radiology interpretation, consent, WHO checklist and more
• Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, Borders General Hospital

Afternoon session – Rib magic and Introduction to NOTSS

• Operative management of rib fractures with a look at the surgical kit. NOTSS
•  The Tryst (chaplaincy centre), Borders General Hospital

Some lunch will be made available between sessions.

You must be a current Scottish Core Surgical Trainee.
