One day, free to attend, practice-heavy course led by trainees who have scored highly in recent years, and facilitated by our local optometric and medical team.
This course is aimed at ST1–ST3 trainees who are registered to sit the Refraction exam. The course covers the following elements.
Retinoscopy
Subjective sphere refinement
Subjective cylinder refinement
Focimetry
Binocular Balance
Cycloplegic retinoscopy
Subjective retinoscopy

Prerequisites: You must be a current Scottish Ophthalmology ST1–ST3 trainee and be registered to sit the May RCOphth Refraction exam. You may be asked to provide evidence of your exam booking.
