Facilitating Obstetric & Neonatal Engagement Course

Add to favourites

Obstetric and neonatal teams frequently work together in a coordinated fashion to facilitate the safe delivery of a neonate. However, inputs are often sequential where synchronous input is often of greater benefit. Combined training between obstetric and neonatal staff is rare, and lack of familiarity with others' roles can hinder effective communication and impact on patient care.

This is a one-day course aligned to curriculum outcomes for paediatric and obstetric trainees (ST3+). The course offers the opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other through structured, combined communication skills and simulation and small group discussions.

To ensure an equal allocation of places for paediatric and obstetric trainees, the bookings have been split by specialty. Please ensure you book onto the slot for your specialty.

Please only book onto one date.
