The National Centre for Remote & Rural Health & Care (the Centre) received an enquiry from Primary Care Practice in NHS Highland about the possibility of supporting with the development of a Community Training Hub (the Hub) pilot site.
The Centre have initiated this work in partnership with three Primary Care Practices. The Hub will be a repository for knowledge exchange, education and training resources, to support practitioners to provide safe and effective primary care provision in rural communities.
Description: Who and How
The Centre is providing programme coordination, management and leadership for this programme of work. The hub is in development and hosted on TURAS, available to the three primary care practices involved in the pilot. A Microsoft Team’s channel has been created for a community space and give opportunity to primary care practitioners for peer support/education/discussions, that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
