The Women, Children, Young People and Families (WYCPF) team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) were delighted to host a webinar in association with the Scottish Government on Women's Health Masterclass 2 – Endometriosis – Identifying and Managing Symptoms.  The Women’s Health Plan (Scottish Government 2021) has a priority to improve access for women to appropriate support, speedy diagnosis, and best treatment for endometriosis.  This webinar is part of a series of masterclasses focusing on women’s health. Taking place in ‘Endometriosis Awareness Month’.

The webinar aimed to:

  • Provide a focus on recognising symptoms and when to consider endometriosis
  • Highlight management options for symptoms and what support might be required for patients
  • Raise awareness of the endometriosis referral care pathway for NHS Scotland
  • Provide information on the current research being undertaken into endometriosis
