This CST simulation monthly training day provides a targeted review of trunk anatomy to MRCS standard and beyond. The day utilizes cadaveric material in a small group setting (7-8 trainees per group) to review the 3-dimensional anatomical relationships underpinning physical diagnosis and safe surgery.
The programme assumes a basic undergraduate knowledge of anatomy. No specific preparation is required, although trainees are encouraged to revise the anatomy of the relevant regions in advance, to obtain the most benefit from the practical sessions.
Prerequisites: You must be a current Scottish Core Surgical Trainee.
