Barrett’s Oesophagus toolkit 2023

The Barrett’s toolkit provides a pathway for all Health Boards to meet the agreed standards provided by the BSG guidelines. These standards include endoscopy quality, pathology reporting and surveillance. The toolkit has also resulted in the development of standardized patient information and patient letters. The Barrett’s toolkit also recognizes a future need to develop standardised management of dysplasia within a Barrett’s segment and access to tertiary services.
