
The General Medical Council (GMC) regulates doctors in the United Kingdom.
Medical Revalidation, a legal requirement in the UK since December 2012, is the process by which doctors demonstrate to the General Medical Council (GMC) that they are up-to-date and fit to practice. It is based on a recommendation by the doctor's Responsible Officer (RO).
