This project transformed the way in which routine hospital data was presented. We took our standard quarterly reported data and visualised it in a way that had never been done before in ARHAI.
This project has produced an environment that enables staff and teams across different organisations to access and interrogate the hospital level data we collect. Our intelligence has become an interactive platform, and boards and others interested in health intelligence can use it to see how other health boards of similar size and demographic makeup are doing.
One of the benefits is that hospitals and health boards can share good practice initiatives that may help reduce hospital associated infections across Scotland.
