The clinical supervision national frameworks for the nursing and midwifery workforce in NHS Scotland (NES, 2023; NES, 2024) support a 'Once for Scotland' approach to implementation, practice and governance of clinical supervision. They have been developed through collaboration with stakeholders from across the Health Boards, Royal College of Midwives, Royal College of Nursing, Scottish Government, Healthcare Improvement Scotland and NHS Education for Scotland.
