The Centre team conducted a training needs analysis in 2024 to ensure the Remote & Rural Series of Learning Events is matching the needs of rural practitioners.
The Centre has been working with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the Remote & Rural Series of Learning Events including further promotion of the programme based on the survey results, with a focus on increasing the number of primary care staff attending from remote and rural areas across Scotland. We aim to repeat the survey later in 2026 to ensure we are meeting the needs of our stakeholders.
The Centre aims to help improve increased access to Continuous Professional Development sessions for primary care practitioners that focus on improving health and care outcomes for remote, rural and island communities.
In this section you will find the details of current sessions available in 2026. Further sessions are being arranged so please revisit this page regularly for updates.
