Our High Impact Model for Change

Add to favourites

Working with Health and Social Care Systems Leaders, we have identified a set of principles and eight whole system High Impact Changes (HICs) with overall ambitions, defining what good would look like.

These HICs are evidence-based good practice, rooted in the experience and expertise of frontline teams and those who work to improve our NHS every day. They are the things we know add up to safe, timely and effective care and are the key component parts of Urgent and Unscheduled Care journeys.

The HIC model aims to focus teams on doing the right things, not just good things. They will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Right Care in the Right Place, for Every Person, Every Time.
