This career pathway is aimed at people that are qualified as an Allied Health Professional, but not registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The pathway helps people to re-join the health and care workforce in Scotland.
We will be launching the following sources of help for return to practice:
1. A central email address is now available to offer any future returnees a career discussion and help explore options for returning;
2. A central point of contact for each NHS Board for local information and to arrange supervised practice;
3. Central guidance for arranging supervised practice within each NHS Board; and
4. We are promoting the Closed Facebook Group for potential returnees and supervisors for peer support.
This launch is phase one of our ongoing marketing activity to support AHP return to practice in Scotland.
