MAPs Workshop 31st October 2022

The NES MAPs workstream are delighted to invite you to join this MAPs Workshop which will be delivered via MS Teams in 2 parts.  Part 1 will focus on MAPs in Primary, Integrated and Community Care. Part 2 will explore ways of supporting service and supporting learners to help meet workforce needs in Scotland through consideration of MAP and ACCP roles.

This is an opportunity to:

  • To encourage debate and discussion on implementing MAPs roles in Primary, Integrated and Community Care.
  • Debate and discuss how implementing Physician Associate roles in this sector positively impacts service delivery and provides benefit to the whole team.
  • Hear update on progress of the MAPs and ACCP programme about workforce and educational scoping
  • Discuss challenges and opportunities in creating conditions for increased implementation of these roles, workforce diversification and consideration of future facing educational models

Target audience:

·Service and clinical leads with responsibility for developing service and remobilisation

·MAPs practitioners involved in educational support and development

·Education partners
