You as a collaborative leader

Leadership for Integration (LfI) is addressing an appetite for leadership support for health and social care integration in Scotland and creating a pool of current and potential future leaders. This is an extension of the 2016 - 2018 leadership for integration work.

The programme, offered in partnership by NHS Education for Scotland, the Scottish Social Services Council and the Royal College of General Practitioners (Scotland), receives its funding from the Scottish Government each financial year.

For more background information about integration across health and social care see the Introduction to Integration videos setting out the aim of expectation of integration authorities under National Induction - Introduction to Integration.

You as a Collaborative Leader is a leadership programme aimed at middle/senior managers across health, social care, statutory, third or independent social care organisations who are working in lead roles in health and social care partnerships or localities to shape, develop and deliver integrated care.

You as a Collaborative Leader is designed to help you recognise your own leadership strengths and sources of resilience and how you can best use these to lead change more collaboratively and effectively to deliver health and social care integration.

With a mixture of personal coaching, peer thinking and group workshop sessions, it is designed specifically to support you to create greater presence, influence more effectively and have greater impact as a collaborative leader.

Participant Feedback

Feedback from previous participants on the programme

It was genuinely one of the most useful experiences professionally. I have never had supervision which has allowed me to focus on who I am and what I bring to my role and how I can affect change in such a structured, interesting and challenging way. Each session reinvigorated my motivation to do a good job.
