My original application suggested that the aim of the improvement project I would like to progress is an impact evaluation to ensure we develop an interactive engaging e -learning education and training pathway for Advanced Nurse Practitioners within NHS Lothian. My leadership journey became wider as I included both current students, practice assessors, previous students, and module teachers.
I have changed my project to the development of an e-portfolio for students to get sign off for any clinical assessments at the point of assessment rather than having to scan lots of papers into create an e -portfolio.
It is hoped this will engage the relationship between practice assessor and student as they will need to complete the sign off assessments directly onto the digital platform ensuring assessment is completed and uploaded at source therefore less chance of assessments getting lost or disordered before final signing off.
