NHS Education for Scotland (NES)

Utilising a text messaging service to offer a person-centred approach to support improving older/vulnerable people’s personal outcomes who live in sheltered housing and lack the skills/technology/confidence to connect to digital platforms for health and wellbeing management. By linking NHS inform, based on what matters to the citizen, sending weekly SMS health and wellbeing promotion/hints and tips messages will support and enable citizens to self-manage their physical and mental health whilst sign posting to services where appropriate. The main aim/goal with this project is to support citizens independently living for longer within their own homes.
