My original application suggested that I would look at ways in which I could engage and communicate with cardiac rehabilitation participants. Covid really changed (and slowed) my plan dramatically as rehabilitation classes were paused and we were all looking for ways to support our patients remotely. My leadership journey became wider as I included colleagues working within pulmonary rehabilitation and falls prevention. We’re in the early stages of trailing the Polar platform and devices. I also decided to try to increase collaboration of efforts within the Long Term Conditions Team through the development of a digital team newsletter.
