Usability testing highlighted that the current ‘My Current Clinic’ Page was cluttered so we have streamlined the page to that below on subsequent sign in so that it is clear to the user which clinic they were assigned to.
If the user selects the ‘Change My Current Clinic’ they will be taken to the ‘My Current Clinic’ Page where they can change their clinic as previously.
We have moved the patient phone number field to above the GP practice code and after the Patient, postcode field making this data capture more naturally associated with the patient details rather than the GP details.
The existing "Vaccinations Administered in the Last 6 Months" table has been modified to show information for the last 12 months.
On the vaccination screen, where a vaccination was administered, the system will now offer to pre-select the Product and Batch Number used in the last administered vaccination. This change aims to make the selection of these items more efficient.
When the user completes a vaccination, the system retains the product and batch number and offers an option to use them again at the next vaccination (of that vaccine type), as shown below.
Selecting yes then the system will prepopulate the Product and Batch Number.
Select no and you have to select the appropriate product and batch number as you do currently.
To guard against users repeatedly choosing to use the same Product and Batch Number throughout the day, the system will ask that the Product and Batch Number is manually selected at regular intervals.
A message will be shown to explain this.
The Patient Details screen (accessed via the Patient Search for example) now offers options to register the patient at the user’s current clinic or to record a retrospective vaccination for the patient.
This change aims to help users initiate appropriate activities after accessing a patient’s status from their details page.
