Maxfacts : Ward Preparation course for dental core trainees working in oral maxillofacial units in the Scotland Deanery. Delivered as face-to-face training sessions over 2 days.
Prerequisites: Dental Core Trainee (DCT) in an oral maxillofacial unit placement in Scotland Deanery who has not previously attended this course
Learning aims: The aim of the Maxfacts ward preparation course is to introduce dental core trainees to a range of skills they will be required to develop during their oral maxillofacial surgery posts.
Learning outcomes: Trainees will be able to fulfil their role as a core trainee within an oral maxillofacial placement
Trainees will have the opportunity to perform key tasks as outlined in their training agreement
Trainees will be able to identify areas for further learning and development
