The Remote and Rural Healthcare Educational Alliance (RRHEAL), NHS Education for Scotland (NES), have been working in partnership with the Scottish Rural Medicine Collaborative (SRMC) to identify an affordable, standardised education and training pathway for multi-disciplinary rural practitioners at advanced practice level.  RRHEAL have completed the initial consultation work and would now like to share this work with key Remote, Rural and Island NHS Board and Educational partners via a virtual seminar.

The format of the Launch Seminar will include leading presentations on National and International Remote, Rural and Island Healthcare Education.  A question and answer session will be available for participants to find out more about the Rural Advanced Practitioner (RAP) Educational Pathway.  There will also be opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the key competencies within RAP and provide feedback to RRHEAL.
