MPPP respiratory workstream has currently provided funding to several test of change projects across NHS Scotland, which shall continue throughout 2021. These projects include:
In addition, MPPP are engaged in remote health pathway design and implementation projects. This includes facilitation of clinical advisory groups and collaboration with Technology Enabled Care Team in the design and implementation of a remote health pathways for both Asthma and COPD. On completion, this shall be available to all health boards. MPPP is also supportive of digital innovation projects such as Dynamic-Scot – a next generation monitoring approach for COPD patients, led by DHI and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
Furthermore, MPPP shall be engaging with sleep services across Scotland throughout 2021, in respect to reducing variation in service delivery for obstructive sleep apnoea.
