In order to support The National Infant Pneumococcal Vaccine Programme, NHS Education for Scotland in partnership with Public Health Scotland has developed resources for registered healthcare practitioners. These can be found below and include training slides (and accompanying notes)
The routine infant programme, as revised in 2020, consists of two doses of a suitable pneumococcal conjugate vaccine at the following schedule:
· 12 weeks Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13 or PCV15)
· One year Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13 or PCV15)
