Vaccine specific training resources for registered healthcare practitioners relating to pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) immunisation programme
In order to support The National Pneumococcal Vaccine Programme for people aged 65 years and older and those aged from 2 to 64 years in clinical risk groups, NHS Education for Scotland in partnership with Public Health Scotland has revised its resources for registered healthcare practitioners. These can be found below and include training slides (and accompanying notes)
Please note: These educational resources continue to be updated as required to support this programme but do not replace the clinical judgement of practitioners. Practitioners should refer to the UKHSA Green Book Chapter when administering the vaccine.
