NHSScotland is making Microsoft Teams available to all colleagues to help us with the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and the contingency measures we have in place. We encourage the use of Microsoft Teams as our secure communication & collaboration tool - use to connect with colleagues, enable remote working, share files and collaborate to deliver patient care. Before using Office 365 tools, please refer to your local information security guidance to ensure safe practice.

Why use Microsoft Teams?

  • Discussion is open, focussed and efficient
  • Allows colleagues to be kept in the loop and share history of work
  • Files are all stored in one place and make sense
  • Creates a space for your conversations
NHS Scotland Email Migration to Outlook in Office 365

As a part of the implementation of Office 365 in NHS Scotland, between now and the end of 2020 our email is moving from NHSMail2 to Exchange Online, a component of the Office 365 suite of products.

An information site has been created which includes migration dates for each Health Board, FAQs, guidance and a schedule of online training.
