NHSScotland is making Microsoft Teams available to all colleagues to help us with the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and the contingency measures we have in place. We encourage the use of Microsoft Teams as our secure communication & collaboration tool - use to connect with colleagues, enable remote working, share files and collaborate to deliver patient care. Before using Office 365 tools, please refer to your local information security guidance to ensure safe practice.
Why use Microsoft Teams?
As a part of the implementation of Office 365 in NHS Scotland, between now and the end of 2020 our email is moving from NHSMail2 to Exchange Online, a component of the Office 365 suite of products.
An information site has been created which includes migration dates for each Health Board, FAQs, guidance and a schedule of online training.
One space for all your Microsoft Teams resources, created and curated by the Office 365 Champions Team. This includes:
NHSScotland New to Microsoft Teams? guide
Information governance guidance for using Teams
Microsoft Teams Interactive Demo for a guided tour of the key features
This page is updated regularly and is accessible for all NHSScotland staff. Post a message in the Office 365 Champions Team if you have anything you would like to upload for all to use - this Team is public so anyone can join, share resources and ask questions of the community.
