Committees

Governance Committees play a significant role in relation to the Health Boards governance and assurance framework. 

On behalf of the Board, Committees undertake scrutiny, development discussions, an assessment of current risks and performance monitoring relating to the focus of the Committee.

Boardroom Bite-size is a series of development resources which consist of a video and an accompanying resource pack containing exercises, checklists and questions relating to the video content.

eLearning Modules

Two eLearning Modules will be available at the end of November 2020 to compliment the induction of new Non-Executive Board Members.

These modules are designed to be an introduction and to promote further development in two key areas. 

  1. Finance and NHS Scotland
  2. Effective Audit and Risk

Whistleblowing Training

On the first of 1 April 2021 the National Whistleblowing Standards will come into effect. Two eLearning modules have been created to assist those in the NHS to understand their responsibilities around Whistleblowing.

In these modules you will learn about the National Whistleblowing Standards (the Standards) and the role of the Independent National Whistleblowing Officer (INWO).
