Rural Teams RNP Final Report. Mapping of advanced level nursing competencies to support the development of the Rural Nurse Practitioner role. The purpose of this report is to consider skill clusters and competencies that may be required by an advanced rural nurse practitioner working across community and hospital settings.
It is anticipated that the report will act as a catalyst for both remote, rural and island boards and their education providers, to discuss, develop and deliver education and training that will be required to support and maintain these roles.
