Stability and security is vital for all children but even more so for looked after children. When a young person cannot live at home, it is vital to find them a permanent home with a loving, nurturing family as soon as possible. This project aims to reduce unnecessary drift and delay in finding that permanent home and securing the child’s future legally to bring stability and security. Aim: By August 2016, 70% of children under 12, who have an agreed permanence plan away from home will be presented to the Permanence Panel within 12 weeks of the plan being made at the Options Appraisal Looked After Child Review.
