Leadership of Change and Improvement in Education is currently managed through agreed School Improvement plans. These are statutory documents and are usually led by senior staff and include many National and Local priorities. The targets are often not related directly to the work being done in classrooms. This project aims to enable school staff to think differently both about leadership of change and the importance of the ‘customer’ (learner) as a central player in driving lasting improvements. Schools do not currently collect data to evidence change and improvement and this project aims to support the thinking that data can maximize resources by highlighting efficient and effective change outcomes.
