Human Factors

Human factors / ergonomics is the study of human activity (inside and outside of work). Its purpose as a scientific discipline is to enhance wellbeing and performance of individuals and organisations.

NHS Education for Scotland offers face-to-face workshops and online learning on the principles of human factors.

Whilst practitioners of Human Factors (Ergonomists) will have undertaken university education and applied that knowledge in work settings; this e-learning resource explores at a basic introductory level, key concepts of this systems and design discipline.
