IP Simulation Based Training - Session 5

Prerequisites:
I agree to the following terms and conditions: If you cancel with less than 72h notice or do not attend a session you may be charged up to £150 for the session. All absences will be recorded and may affect your future ability to book. I confirm I understand I must submit each IP Logbook session within 4 weeks of attendance otherwise the session will not count towards my placement.

Learning outcomes:
C-112385 Domain: Communication: Demonstrate enhanced communication skills by selecting and using appropriate language tailored for a child or adult when explaining ocular complications and management of infections caused by bacteria or parasites ensuring effective patient understanding and engagement. (S2.1) Domain: Clinical practice: Demonstrate improved ability to compare the signs and symptoms of active verses in-active infection in trachoma and toxoplasmosis to support diagnosis and inform the most effective management and treatment plan. (S7.1) Domain: Specialty CPD - AS/SP/IP optometrist Show increased confidence in explaining and managing the risks associated with recurrent infections and reactivation, while working collaboratively with colleagues to treat and support optimal outcomes. (S7.6)
