IP Simulation Based Training - Session 5

If you cancel with less than 72h notice or do not attend a session you may be charged up to £150 for the session. All absences will be recorded and may affect your future ability to book.
I confirm I understand I must submit each IP Logbook session within 4 weeks of attendance otherwise the session will not count towards my placement.

Demonstrate enhanced communication skills by selecting and using appropriate language tailored for a child or adult when explaining ocular complications and management of infections caused by bacteria or parasites ensuring effective patient understanding and engagement. (S2.1)

Demonstrate improved ability to compare the signs and symptoms of active verses in-active infection in trachoma and toxoplasmosis to support diagnosis and inform the most effective management and treatment plan. (S7.1)

Show increased confidence in explaining and managing the risks associated with recurrent infections and reactivation, while working collaboratively with colleagues to treat and support optimal outcomes. (S7.6)
