A flexible learning programme to support health and care staff who wish to lead and participate in Safety Learning Reviews of Safety Events (e.g. incidents, events or complaints) where harm has occurred or could have occurred, whether physical or psychological, or where the safety and wellbeing of people have been compromised.

Built from existing PSD Scotland resources and structured into five accessible modules, the course introduces key concepts, practical tools and good‑practice guidance to support safe, person‑centred learning after safety occurrences.

Learning Activities & Assessment
Learners will complete:
A short formative assessment at the end of each module
Achieving ≥80% on the formative assessments and submitting the reflective log electronically to PSD Scotland will unlock a Certificate of Completion, including 20 hours of CPD.
