Accessing your Learning Programme
Once you have been offered a place, you’ll be able to use this page to access your learning programme and all the materials and resources you’ll need, including pre-learning, e-learning, additional reading and activities.

Childsmile and Caring for Smiles
This blended learning programme combines live, facilitated online sessions with self-directed learning activities to support you to develop your knowledge, confidence and skills in oral health improvement. The live sessions are interactive and will provide opportunities to engage with educators and other learners, share experiences, explore different perspectives and apply your learning to practice.
The programme takes a life course approach to oral health improvement, exploring how we can support children, adults in priority groups and dependent older people to achieve and maintain good oral health. Throughout the programme, learning is underpinned by a person-centred, values-based approach that recognises the wider challenges and barriers that can affect an individual’s ability to achieve a healthy mouth.
Learners will explore how compassionate, inclusive and supportive approaches can help people overcome challenges, build confidence and make sustainable changes to improve their oral health.
The learning programme includes a range of resources, activities and opportunities for reflection to support your learning journey. (Please note that access to the full course materials and learning resources below is only available to learners who have been offered and accepted a place on the Childsmile and Caring for Smiles Course).
