Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network
We're developing a new Early Career Researchers (ECR) Network within the National Centre, and I invited you all to participate in some focus groups to help me make a plan for the network.
I understand that carving out time for synchronous meetings can be challenging, especially for those in different locations or with demanding schedules. So, I'd like to invite you to contribute your thoughts and ideas via an asynchronous focus group on a dedicated interactive Padlet board. This way, you can share your feedback at a time that suits you best, from wherever you are.
How to Participate (It's Easy!):
I've set up a Padlet board with key questions to guide your contributions. You can share your thoughts by posting replies to the questions I've added. You can also see and respond to others' ideas, creating a rich, collaborative discussion.
The board will be open for contributions until COB Tuesday 30th September 2025. I encourage you to spend about 15-20 minutes exploring the questions and adding your perspectives. Feel free to come back and add more thoughts whenever inspiration strikes!
Confidentiality and Next Steps:
All contributions to the Padlet board will be used to inform the development of the ECR Network. Your comments are anonymous and will therefore be anonymous in any reports or proposals. Please avoid sharing any personally identifiable or sensitive information.
Once I've gathered all your feedback, I'll analyse the insights and share an update on the proposed structure and activities of the ECR Network.
If you have any questions about the Padlet or the ECR Network initiative, please don't hesitate to contact me at carrie.walton@nhs.scot
Thank you in advance for your time and valuable contributions!
