This online interactive workshop and the identified self-directed learning will support those involved in AHP practice-based learning to develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery of peer assisted learning.
The workshop is delivered on Microsoft Teams and is open to allied health professionals (AHPs) and support workers who:
· Support or are interested in supporting practice-based learning for AHP students
· Have an interest in or would like to learn more about peer assisted learning

By the end of the session, you will be able to:
1) Discuss the benefits of a peer assisted learning placement in relation to students, practice educators, and services
2) Identify ways to prepare for and deliver a peer assisted learning placement
3) Consider how to approach challenging situations in the context of peer assisted learning
