Clinical supervision: Getting it right for you. Webinar 26.06.25

Our second webinar in the series explored how clinical supervision can support the wellbeing and psychological safety of the workforce and how this in turn influences patient care and safety.

During the webinar, there was the opportunity to:

  • Consider how clinical supervision can create psychological safety in the workplace
  • Discover the positive impact of clinical supervision on patient safety and quality care
  • Explore the benefits of clinical supervision on staff health and wellbeing

The Scottish model of clinical supervision webinar 27.03.25

We started our webinar series on 27th March 2025, focussing on the Scottish model of clinical supervision and how it works in practice.

The session was opened by Eleanor Lang, Associate Nurse Director at NHS Golden Jubilee and Deputy Chair of the Scottish Corporate Nurse Leaders Group.  She emphasised that there has never been a more important time to implement clinical supervision. Highlighting the value of the clinical supervision process to support staff development and wellbeing, and to enhance care quality and delivery.

During the webinar, there was the opportunity to: ​

  • Learn about the three components of the model: practice, professional and restorative​
  • Gain insights from colleagues from across Scotland who shared their experience of implementing the model. ​
  • Discover how the Scottish model of clinical supervision can enhance practice and improve care quality.​
