HAI-SCRIBE
Resources to support the implementation and application of the Healthcare Associated Infection- System for Controlling Risks In the Built Environment (HAI-SCRIBE).
Introduction
NHS Scotland Assure is developing the resources on this site in collaboration with NHS Education for Scotland (NES).
These resources are intended for individuals, teams, and organisations in both the NHS and private sectors that work with Scottish Health Facilities Note 30 and HAI-SCRIBE within NHS Scotland.
They are intended to:
- support learning and development for this diverse multi-agency and multi-professional staff group, including IPC, clinical, estates, H&S, hard and soft FM, design, architecture and engineering staff.
- support the workforce in gaining the knowledge and skills to prevent and control the HAI risks associated with the healthcare built environment and promote a culture of life-long learning, continuous improvement and improved safety.
Although these resources focus on HAI-SCRIBE, they are highly complementary to those provided by the NES Infection Prevention and Control Education Team on their Healthcare Built Environment page.
