All grades of the AHP workforce require tailored structured support when going through a period of career transition. This is known as Preceptorship. Examples of career transition include:

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are currently producing an AHP Preceptorship guidance document to support the AHP workforce to fully understand the concept of preceptorship and embed into practice. The consultation period is now complete and the guidance is moving on to the next stage of development and design.

AHP Preceptorship Webinar 2024
