The Digitally Enabled Workforce Team (DEW) has 10 members in different specialist lead and programme support roles all connected to building digital, data and leadership skills across the sector. DEW are hosted in NHS Education for Scotland and commissioned by Scottish Government in partnership with COSLA to deliver against the priorities within Scotland’s Care in the Digital Age Delivery Plan.
DEW collaborate with a range of partners and stakeholders directly impacting building digital skills and leadership across the health and social care workforce of over 400,000 in Scotland. Closing the digital skills gap is a fundamental priority for workforce development.
The DEW team culture encourages professional growth, and each member has a unique skillset and perspective, they learn from each other value working towards a shared vision using their range of experience to create exciting new ideas which will support digital transformation across the sector.
