Paediatric Return to Work Course

Add to favourites

A one day face to face course was designed and implemented as per RCPCH recommendations by a faculty of dedicated paediatric clinicians and medical educators, to support paediatric doctors in their return to clinical practice.

This course offers tutorials focussing on recent updates to clinical practice, managing well being when returning to work and practical aspects of the transition.

Simulation scenarios in both neonatal and general paediatric areas are offered and debriefed by experienced simulation faculty.

Peer support is developed through small group work, and by attendance at the session.

Attendees will leave the course with additional resources to utilise as they prepare.

The course will be held at Scottish Paediatric Health Education Resource (SPHERE), RHCYP, Edinburgh.
