Digital Leadership Programme Autumn Sessions

Digital & Data Capability Assessment: Frameworks, Tools, and Insights 

Thursday 22 October 

13:00-14:00

This session will explore how individuals, teams and organisations can measure digital and data capabilities using the Digital and Data Capability Framework, Self-Assessment Tool and Organisation Dashboards. It will highlight how these tools can help identify strengths and gaps, inform development priorities and support a more targeted approach to building digital and data capability.

As well as carrying out an interactive walkthrough of each resource, we will also discuss the wider strategic vision of Digital Workforce transformation, and how these resources are being used across the national health and social care workforce to aid organisations in their Digital Transformation aims.

MS Forms and Power Automate - What can they do? Part 1 

Monday 16 November 

11:00-12:00

This introductory session will explore what Microsoft Forms and Power Automate can do and how they can be used to simplify everyday tasks and processes. We’ll look at examples to demonstrate how the tools can help you collect information, automate workflows and reduce manual effort, giving you ideas for how they could be used in your own team or organisation.

 Following this session, there will be a slightly more advanced Part 2 where we will walk through some real-world practical examples of using Microsoft Form and Power Automate.

To make full use of this session, and be able to work and learn in a safe and effective manner, it is recommended that your Digital and Data Capabilities are at least level 1 on the  digital and data capability framework for the capability areas Using Technology and Handling Information & Data. Please take some time to explore the framework and assess your own digital and data capabilities using the self-assessment tool.

MS Forms and Power Automate into Practice Part 2  

Wednesday 18 November

11:00-12:00

Building on the introductory session, this practical session will explore how Microsoft Forms and Power Automate could be used in real-world scenarios. We'll look at how the two tools can work together create simple automated processes, with practical demonstrations to help you build confidence and start applying these tool to your own work.

This session is aimed at individuals who are at least familiar with Microsoft Forms and Power Automate. If you have not come across or used Microsoft Forms and Power Automate before, it is important that you attend Part 1 of this series.

To make full use of this session, and be able to work and learn in a safe and effective manner, it is recommended that your Digital and Data Capabilities are at least level 1 on the  digital and data capability framework for the capability areas Using Technology and Handling Information & Data. Please take some time to explore the framework and assess your own digital and data capabilities using the self-assessment tool.
