AHP Projects Progressing PrBL Announcements
1. Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the Local Authority PrBL event at Edinburgh Napier this month
2. The new Long Arm Supervision and Project-based PrBL Guidance documents are now with the NHS Education for Scotland design team
3. Exciting developments regarding a coaching/mentoring approach in PrBL - more information to follow soon

1. AHP PrBL Capacity/Models: A literature search has been undertaken re coaching and mentoring and we have been linking with nursing colleagues who have led some work in this area. Aiming to develop and test a coaching/mentoring model to support practice educators to use different PrBL models. Work is ongoing on guidance to support long arm supervision and project-based PrBL
2. AHP PrBL Capability: Local implementation sessions are planned to support the use of the AHP Practice Education Development Framework and a resource pack is available to support the sessions. The national working group is working towards a once for Scotland approach to core learning for practice educator development
3. AHP Quality and Governance: Successful Voices Together Local Authority Occupational Therapy event 05.06.25 - great to share learning and practice
4. General Update: Key messages from each of the projects will be shared in July.

AHP projects will continue to focus on developing AHP PrBL capability, building PrBL capacity, and embedding PrBL quality and governance. Further updates will follow.
