Scottish Multiprofessional Maternity Development Programme (SMMDP)

The aim of the Scottish Neonatal Stabilisation Course is to provide participants usually in remote and rural settings with the knowledge and enhanced practical skills to competently manage the care of the baby who requires stabilisation and support whilst awaiting the neonatal transport team. Participants will be able to describe normal transition to extra uterine life, have a greater understanding of the unexpected problems a baby may have in the first hours and days of life, detection of these and the immediate care required.

The cost of this course is £40.00 for the SNSC only.  When completing the SNRC and SNSC together, the cost is £50.00 for both combined.
