AHP Career Fellowship Alumni

The AHP Careers Fellowship Alumni Network, was established through listening and involving Fellows from earlier Cohorts about what they would like from being an ongoing alumni member.

Purpose of the alumni

The alumni network provides the following benefits

  • Provide peer support and networking opportunities for all members
  • Support ongoing career development and application of new knowledge, skills and confidence
  • Facilitate ongoing connections between Fellows and support ongoing delivery and development of the Fellowship scheme
  • Support longer term impact evaluation of the Scheme


Governance and delivery of the Fellowship

Members of the alumni are actively involved in the following aspects of the Fellowship:

 Governance of the scheme

  • Advisory Group membership
  • Application Review Panel membership
  • Advice and feedback on Scheme developments
  • Evaluation framework for the Scheme 

Delivery of the learning and development programme

  • Sharing experiences with current cohort
  • Facilitating Peer Learning Groups for current cohort
  • Celebration event short life working group membership 

Promotion of the Scheme

  • Marketing videos
  • Sharing Fellows’ project outputs

 Ongoing career development opportunities

The Fellowship Scheme connects with the Scottish Government’s Leading to Change resource which offers a wide range of ongoing leadership development opportunities. In addition, the Scheme provides bi-annual networking and CPD opportunities for the alumni membership.
