Quality Improvement Zone
The Quality Improvement Zone (QI Zone) is a learning and resource site from the NHS Education for Scotland Quality Improvement team which provides information and resources to support people with experience at all levels of quality improvement to develop their knowledge.
The team provide learning, development and networking opportunities to build skills, knowledge and confidence, enabling the public and 3rd sector to use QI methodology to deliver better services, care and outcomes for the people of Scotland.

Healthcare Built Environment Educational Resources
The NES Healthcare Built Environment team, in collaboration with NHS Scotland Assure ARHAI Clinical Assurance Team, launched a new animation Think sink, think splash, think safety! on August 1st 2023.
This exciting animation describes the do’s and don’ts of clinical wash hand basins (sinks) – their intended purpose, water associated infection risks and what we all can do together to reduce this risk. The animation promotes best practice for all staff within healthcare settings when using the clinical wash hand basins.
