Management Matters events, workshops, overview sessions, and courses.
The Overview Sessions will attended by staff from across the eight national boards. The focus will be on exploring the elements of each subject through group activities, discussion and sharing of learning and practice.

These sessions will look at how we can use self-reflection to better understand ourselves and our behaviour. This is important because in order to manage effectively we must first manage ourselves. You will also have an opportunity to plan your development activities in the Managing Self module.
These sessions will look at how we can use the requirements of highly functioning teams and models of team development and conflict management to improve the way our teams work. This is important because effective team working can significantly improve our outcomes. You will also have an opportunity to explore how you take your learning and apply it in the workplace following.
These sessions will look at how the NHS in Scotland is structured and explore the context we are all operating in. With this information, we will gain insight into the organisations culture and values as well as our own. These are building blocks for achieving change and innovation through the diversity of people we work with
