The Senior Perioperative support worker is responsible for the delivery of perioperative care and is expected to develop more complex clinical skills than level 2 workers and complete training to safely take on duties delegated by registered staff.
Example roles include perioperative assistant, theatre healthcare assistant and perioperative support worker.
