The Introduction to Enhanced Psychological Interventions (EPI) in Forensic Mental Health Settings training is delivered in partnership with the School of Forensic Mental Health. It comprises two e-learning modules designed to introduce learners to the psychological theory that underpins enhanced psychological interventions in forensic settings. Module 2 provides an overview of some of the skills used in recovery for people accessing enhanced interventions in forensic settings.
Following completion of the e-learning modules learners may wish to apply to attend the Enhanced Psychological Interventions in Forensic Mental Health Settings 3 day taught skills-based programme. The skills-based learning aims to develop clinicians’ skills and competencies to deliver an agreed suite of individual and group psychological therapy programmes, which were developed by the forensic matrix working group. Training events are offered twice a year and are advertised by the Forensic Network.
